The Dysentery Has Been Battled!
By Chris • Dec 22nd, 2008 • Category: Site News (New When Necessary)Thanks to everyone who joined us by giving us your money, helping to get the word out, watching us on the webcast, and hanging out with us in our chatroom during Saturday’s broadcast. Your support helped see us through the 24 hours, and made the event a complete success.
Tuck will have the official numbers in a few days after the straggler donations come it, but you helped us raise at least $512.89 for two very worthy charities.
As you may have noticed, the live feed has retired from the charity section of our website. The feed has returned to it’s home under the “Live Feed” tab at the top of the geekswithissues.com. For the time being it will be showing old episodes of our show. We definitely plan on firing it up again however, most likely during our impending trip to New York Comic Con in a few short months. We are also going to try out the live feed during our next taping, so check in on the Saturday, January 3rd, 2009 and you can watch the Geeks with Issues record their first episodes of the new year live.
We expect to take a few more days off to enjoy the Holidays, but the site will be back in full force after that, kicking off with the realease of our Holiday Episode, #106 on Friday.
