True Believers, Episode 112 saw my doing what I’ve asked all of you never to tell anyone you’ve done. And I’ve Geeked in My Pants for two reasons. First of all, we blazed new trails for Pittsfield Community Television by being the first program to use the popular video chat software Skype to bring a guest onto our show. While this is not a new technique for online television programs, or even for community access television centers, this is the first time PCTV has had the chance to try such a setup, and have it work so flawlessly. Many thanks to our sound engineer and general operations tech, Rob, as well as PCTV’s own Ryan Cowdrey for helping us get the feed prepared.
Of course, the thing that had me really excited was not the Skype thing. The absolute Geek pulsing excitement that I had was our guest: podiobook author and new media advocate J.C. Hutchins.
For anyone uninitiated into the world of Mr. Hutchins, you are missing out on some of the coolest fiction that I have ever seen. I would endeavor to tell you all just how awesome, but I think I’d rather take this excerpt from Episode 112, we learn from the man himself:

Tuck is the Executive Producer, Moderator, Website Administrator and all around Geekmaster of Geeks With Issues. When he's not working on leading the Geeks in their bid for world domination, he works as a Production Technician at Pittsfield Community Television. He presently lives happily in North Adams, MA with his wife, Cassandra, and is enjoying his present role as an infant climbing surface...and dreading his role as a dual-vector version of the same.
