Producer of Record:
Did you know that the growth of Geeks With Issues depends not on ratings, or ad sales, or even on the management of the community access centers that it could play on? It depends on people like you! It’s a little known fact that most community access centers will air programming submitted by their members, with very little extra effort. It’s also a little known fact that people outside the area have a much harder time getting their programming to air on community access television, because of the same rules that allow local members to air programming. So, to get on more channels and be seen in more locations, Geeks With Issues needs the help of Producers of Record.
A Producer of Record is responsible for becoming a member of their local community access television center, and bringing Geeks With Issues to their local cable system. To do so is really easy, and we’ll give you credit for your hard work. Just follow the simple steps below, and you’ll be on your way to becoming a part of Geeks With Issues history!
1) Find out what is the name of your community access center, and where it is – if you need help finding your local access center, click here for a list of community television stations worldwide. If you need more help, our you can’t find your home region on this list, use our” Contact” page to get an assist. Then, with that information in hand, fill out the below form:
2) With this information, we will contact both you and the television station in question. We will find out the specific rules of that station, and help you become a member and register as the Producer of Record for Geeks With Issues. Often, this requires a small membership fee, but that fee gives you access to the station’s cable airing time, their equipment and professional training, so the price is well worth it.
3) Every two weeks we will send you the most recent episode of Geeks With Issues to bring to your access center. You need to take that episode, and get it on the air as quickly as we can, so our shows don’t get backed up!
4) Because your generosity in becoming a Producer of Record is so great, we want to recognize you for the work that you are about to put in on our behalf. Therefore, when you become a Producer of Record, we do two things. Number One, we announce it on out website, giving you digital credit for your hard work. Number Two, we put you in the credits of our show, forever announcing the important task that you complete for us. Number Three, we love you for being the amazing fan that you are. Because you rock.
That all there is to it. So, what are you waiting for? Do some research, fill out the form, and become a Producer of Record today!

Make A Donation
One of the oldest and most direct ways of helping your Geeks is by throwing money at us. Donations made here to the Geeks With Issues website are used to help pay for our website, and our content streaming services. After all, making good TV costs money, and anything you can do to help us to defray those costs upon the Geeks ensures that we’re able to continue providing you with quality programming every month, and for many years to come. And, if you’re short on time but not on money, it’s the perfect way to help us out without any extra commitment of time.
Please find below two buttons with which you can make donations to the Geeks. Each button works in a special and unique way. The button on the left is a simple, on shot “Donate” button. You pick the amount – whatever you think what you’ve watched is worth – and send it our way.
The second button is marked “Subscribe.” This button uses a technique that we’ve borrowed from fellow geek Dan Carlin call “Buck a Show.” By clicking on this button, you can set your PayPal account or your credit card to pay a monthly donation of $2 a month – essentially a dollar a show. This allows you to give back to the Geeks With Issues experience in a meaningful, affordable way, without needing to thing about it. It’s a pretty cool feature, and you can cancel your subscription at any time.
So, what are you waiting for? Make that donation today, and let us do the good work for you.
