Chris - “The Director”
Name: Christopher Michael Hartford Chamberland
D.O.B.: July 4, 1983
Day Job: Civil Engineer
Chris is, and always has been, first and foremost a math and science geek. It’s no surprise then, that he spends his days designing roads and making sure that water flows downhill. Chris is also an A/V geek, as evidenced by his various (mostly unpaid) positions as Director of Monument Mountain Television, Executive Producer and co-founder of Notre Dame Television, and Runner/Spotter/All-Purpose Stat Boy for ESPN at various events.
Much like his cohorts on the other side of the camera, Chris is most definitely a child of the ’80s. He still has fond memories and a sizeble toy collection related to the classic television shows of that era. These include, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtules, Ghostbusters, Power Rangers (the original, not this new-age junk) and Darkwing Duck. His childhood gaming experience was mostly limited the NES, thus his favorite game of all time is Super Mario Bros. 3. However, he gains mad geek-cred since he still holds photographic evidence that he was the one-time owner of a Commodore 64 computer system. Chris has also dabbled in the world of tabletop RPG’s with the ubiquitous Advanced D&D, as well as Vampire: The Masquerade and Vampire Hunters. Of course, like any geek worth the beat up old couch in Mom’s basement, he holds a special place in his heart for Star Wars (the good Trilogy, of course).
Chris spent a good portion of his childhood becoming an Eagle Scout with Troop 23 in Great Barrington, MA. More recently, he has earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Notre Dame, and is currently pursuing a Master of Science degree from Columbia University.
